"Swedish design, German quality, and British eccentricity"
Earlier this year I got a message from Mattis Oppermann, the co-founder of Oppermann London, Swedish-German brand based in London as he wanted to introduce the brand. I had never before heard of it so I got curious. The company was founded by Mattis and his brother Niklas in 2011, the first collection was introduced in November 2012 and just recently they already presented their second, now extended collection of leather bags, portfolios and accessories. Currently their products are sold at least in their own webshop, at Opumo and at 4 retailers in UK and Sweden.
After chatting a while Mattis asked me if I was interested to give a try to their products and I was more than pleased to take the chance. And as the decision to choose was left for me, I ended up to picking their “Goswell Briefcase” portfolio in navy blue. I already had a bit smaller briefcase by Mismo in tan color so blue sounded like a good choice. In terms of leather products such as bags or shoes I think blue is often undervalued. You don’t really come up with the color often, even though it’s one of the most versatile options there is.
