The bi-annual “week in Florence” is again behind. After missing the trip to the fair last June, Pitti Uomo 93 was again a great way to start the year.
Pitti Uomo is not just superfluous peacocks posing at the plaza of Fortezza da Basso. In fact it is much more than that. Among the guys who participate to the fair there are still bunch of most well-dressed men who continue to uphold the simple, effortless elegance and authentic style.
One Pitti Uomo again behind. Last week we had four busy, yet sensuous days in Florence. Then a couple of relaxing days in Milan. More detailed reviews and thoughts are coming up later. But before that as a Friday inspiration a short sneak peek to what I wore for the days in Florence.
It’s again that time of the year. Time to pack the bags and head to Florence for Pitti Uomo. This time for Pitti Uomo 91. The fair will show the upcoming collections for fall and winter 2017. But it will naturally feature much more. People, streetstyle, good food, drinks, beautiful streets of Florence and passion.
Pitti Uomo 90 is over. Four days of finest menswear behind. And six months to the next fair. Now is a good time to take a short look of what was seen. What did I wear myself and what were the most visible trends we can look forward to see next spring and summer.
Pitti Uomo 90 starts tomorrow. That means four days full of high quality men’s clothing, #menswear-trends, friends, good food and drinks. Five months have again gone by fast. Though it still feels that I have been too long away from that beautiful city.
How to tie your tie? What are the features you prefer in terms of ties? We asked these questions from a few guys during Pitti Uomo 89. We also asked how do they like to wear their ties and what are the most important things when it comes to choosing a tie.
For Thursday throwback and some inspiration I decided to pick few shots featuring outfits I personally wanted to highlight as “best of Pitti Uomo”.
Pitti Uomo 89 and week in Italy is over. First a few more hectic days in Florence. Then a couple of relaxing days in Milan. More detailed reviews and thoughts are coming up – starting next week. But before that a short sneak peek to what I wore for the days 2 and 3.
