Finally it seems that summer is here. Last weekend was sunny and warm, so it was perfect for strolling around and enjoying the city. On Sunday we decided to head to Brasserie Kämp and see if they really serve one of the best burgers in town – as is often claimed. You can find the full review @tyylit.fi but here are a few pictures of what I was wearing for the day and what we got to eat.
Shorts and blazer – casual summer wear
I have earlier written shortly about shorts for summer and how to wear them. On Sunday I decided to wear shorts with a button-up shirt and blazer – a combination which in general divides opinions.
However as I have mentioned before I personally see that this combination has its place and Sunday was just one of those days suitable for the ensemble. Warm and sunny summer day which we spent by walking around town, having a few drinks and enjoying lunch at one of the best terraces in Helsinki.
Ended up wearing white linen shorts from Zara and light blue mtm-shirt by Proper Cloth. I combined them with a “shirt-like” unstructured, striped jersey blazer by Tombolini and finally added a little splash of color with the watermelon print pocket square by P.Johnson Tailors. Bracelets and the key chain are from Viola Milano and Lardini.
Burgers @ Brasserie Kämp
Some say that Brasserie Kämp delivers the best burgers in Helsinki. Well, when it comes to taste, aesthetics and overall feeling, I might share that opinion. At least this was definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had in Finland.
This is what Sundays should be about. Enjoying sunny weather, best company, tasty food and good drinks. Hope the summer will stay here a bit longer. Be sure to read to the full text at #tyylit.
