As you have probably noticed (and as I have mentioned earlier) my posting frequency has slowed down a bit during the last months. There are couple of reasons for that. First one is due to my job that has kept my fairly busy this fall and the other one is a project you will soon hear more and that will take DressLikeA into a whole new level. Regarding that the site will also soon get a new platform and facelift which will also make it easier and pleasurable to read. So don't worry, there are good things in the pipeline, stay tuned.But before that I try to keep the pace steady and there will for sure be some interesting stuff to keep your eyes on. Today for little Sunday read it's time for monthly review of some pictures featured at Instagram, this time including shots actually from two previous months August and September.
WIWT - lookdowns & more
First a few fwis-shots ranging from more formal office-outfits to more casual sport coat-combinations and then a couple of other shots what I have been wearing.
Two different implementations of basically same outfit featuring my mtm-suit by Herrainpukimo, Prince of Wales-checked tie and double monk shoes. Firsts with a striped shirt by Schoffa, silk tie from Drake’s London and black double monks by Alfred Sargent.
And then with a white shirt from Mastai Ferretti, Berg&Berg woolen tie and light brown calf leather monk shoes by Laszlo Vass.
Checked suit, white shirt and double monks without socks. A combination some might say is too controversial but which I still happen to like.
In between seasons. Took my flannel and heavier wool sport coat and suits from the closets a few weeks ago. On the other hand the weather has been quite warm so I have still kept wearing my shoes without socks. Sport coat by G.Abo Napoli, mtm-chambray shirt from Isaia, Finealta denim slacks, Berg&Berg tie and Meermin made-to-order snuff suede loafers.
Weekend casual. Gave some wear for my old A-1 type leather jacket together with Finealta denim slacks, superga sneakers and roll neck sweater from Sand.
Double-breasted suit by Suitsupply together with wool flannel floral patterned tie from Berg&Berg. Even though a DB-suit is almost always quite a formal choice it can be dressed down with the right accessories.

And then just a few pics of my top acquisition for the season and of my favorite drinks and snacks.
Last January at Pitti Uomo I saw this overcoat by Lardini. Then I told to Tuomo and Olli from Vaatturiliike Sauma that when they make their purchase for this season from Lardini, I want this coat. And well, I got what I asked. Off-white casentino coat might not be the most suitable choice for Finnish winter but this piece for sure is worth every penny. I like it.
When it's about champagne and burgers there really ain't no words needed.
