The history of Italian Gran Sasso goes back to year 1952 when four small-town brothers; Nello, Eraldo, Alceo, and Francesco Di Stefano decided to merge their skills to build something with an aim to become one of Italy's most eminent knitwear companies.
Gran Sasso is specialized in knitwear and following the laid-back motto "Quality is always fashionable" company’s garments are made from finest materials to combine tradition with innovation and ancient craftsmanship with modern production processes.
If you go and look, there’s not much information available regarding Gran Sasso online. But what’s sure, is that this company makes one of the finest knitwear on the market. All products are naturally - made exclusively in Italy.
Finally a quick look of the company’s F/W ´13 look book and some shots taken at Pitti Uomo 83 last January. As seen in the pictures, the company finds it’s strength especially from warm kind of conformity, earthy and “soft” color scheme and the elegant & sharp but still cozy looking overall styling.
