Lubiam S/S ´14 @ Pitti Uomo 84

For some reason I’ve left Lubiam to be one the last brands to show, maybe because I think the photos I took don’t make justice to the collection which I actually liked maybe even more than the two previous ones I’ve seen from them.

Unlike most of the exhibitors Lubiam had for this season changed the layout of the stand a bit (and maybe this made it too difficult for me to shoot) which also gave a nice refreshment. Also this time they had present a lot of pieces from maybe their most unknown label “Brando”, in the same space with the other collections.

The collection for next spring and summer overall comes with lots and lots of bold patterns (as typical for the brand) together with nicely balanced and interesting, subdued fabric treatments. And of course very softly tailored, keeping the construction as light as possible (especially in terms of L.B.M 1911 and Brando lines).

(this one would be a perfect match for light colored denim and a light blue button-up)

And remember to check the post regarding the upcoming F/W ´13 collection presented at Pitti Uomo 83 in January from here.
