Classics as essentials for men - Spring 2015
So again this time my listing became to feature in general five - I dare to say - classic #menswear pieces. Although a couple of these could be categorized also as trends that have recently been grown in popularity. The listing has also been made by keeping in mind the idea that even though they are interesting and essential individual pieces - one could use them as a set all combined together.
I've attached my choices below but you can read the full post and descriptions via the link.
A classic rain mac is a simple choice as an outerwear piece. This specific Limone model by Italian Aspesi is constructed from a high density nylon taffeta. It is both wind resistant and water repellent. It is versatile in terms of style and it can be easily packed into an internal pocket which makes it perfect choice for traveling. As said - it doesn't really matter what season are we talking about - this one belongs to every list. It's only a matter of construction and materials. For spring I personally favor lightweight wools or a bit "washed look" cotton. This one by Hardy Amies features 2% of elastane which makes more durable and easier to deal with for example when traveling. There can be very diverging views regarding light colored (and) washed denim. However as far as I am concerned - there really ain't many as essential combinations for summer than light colored distressed denim, a white t-shirt and classic sneakers or suede loafers. In addition to that Limone rain mac shown below - these Common Projects Achilles sneakers are really spring 2015 essential for me. Versatile, very good looking, simple and adaptable. Summer is the time for traveling. And when traveling - do it with style. This Mismo Mission bag is again simple yet elegant, spacious enough but definitely not too bulky.
