Going through blogs, forums and web shops is a good way to brighten up a rainy weekend like this one. Today taking a quick look of Pauw Mannen - Dutch based luxury retailer that just this week opened their new web store.
The first Pauw Mannen store was opened already in 1980s at the Van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam - so we are not talking about any new born player, although that time the focus was predominantly in women's fashion. Later Pauw has widened their range to cover some of the most prestigious brands from the world of menswear and if you ever happen to visit in Amsterdam, I highly recommend you pay a visit at some of their stores there. The selection of Pauw is wide and the range covers multiple fields in terms of men's style. When one can find names such as Kiton, Orazio Luciano, Loro Piana and Cesare Attolini - you know they are playing in the league of the finest pieces that can be found in the world of ready-to-wear clothing. According to their website Pauw Mannen was is fact the first boutique in Netherlands to have Kiton, Attolini, Caruso, Finamore, Loro Piana and La Vera Sartoria Napoletana in their selection.
However, Pauw is not just about high-end tailored clothing but they also seem to have a lot to offer for guys interested of more casual and minimalistic side of menswear. Labels such as Aspesi, Buttero, Common Projects, Ten C and Orlebar Brown should ring the bell for anyone who has at some point been browsing through menswear-blogs, forums or websites.
