Today after work I had a pleasure to visit at Schoffa while the “VIP Night” they had arranged for their friends and customers. A great get-together with nice people, good catering, some nice offerings and of course, free champagne. What would be a better way to spend your evening.
I also got the chance to take a little closer look at their new selection of ties, scarves, pocket squares and some new shirt fabrics (including some nice flannels) for the season. Especially liked the grenadine ties (actually bought one earlier today when I just quickly popped to the shop) and the paisley patterned wool scarves.
They also have a got a new line of “Schoffa”-labeled suits for this fall. Taking into consideration the half-canvas construction and fabrics used in the suits I think the price (450 euros) is pretty reasonable. Hope they will in the future come up with an option featuring a bit “lighter” construction and a bit less shoulder padding though. But for anyone looking a basic business suit I think this is an option worth to go and check out. Will try to come up with a bit more detailed review during the fall.
