Today's inspiration underlines versatility and the right use of patterns and color.
In terms of outerwear, a single-breasted navy blue overcoat is a safe choice that is suitable to be worn over a suit for the office as well as it is with some denim and knitwear for those casual weekend getaways. A lightweight and unstructured wool-suit featuring a subtle overcheck pattern can easily be combined as separates and there really is no choice that would be more versatile than a light blue button-up shirt.
It's been said that one should never have more than three different patterns in one outfits. In case any of the pattern is even a bit on the bold side I would personally make that two.
The tie and pocket square are actually the foundation of the outfit for this week - both from the selection of Monsieur Fox, a brand that makes beautiful handmade accessories. Especially their printed pocket squares and scarves look stunning. More about the brand coming later.
