Scandinavian simplicity combined with Italian craftsmanship and tradition

Mismo S/S ´15 @ Pitti Uomo 86

Danish Mismo has established a solid supporter base. And it has happened for a reason. For myself visiting the stand for not just see the collection but also to have a chat with Adam (the co-founder and owner of Mismo) is one of the routines during Pitti week.

The visit and collection for upcoming spring and summer did not disappoint, once again Mismo came up with an inspiring range featuring their popular basic pieces together with some seasonal and new innovations.

For the next season there were basically two new colors featured on the canvas bags - very strong & bright blue and the “rustic brown” pictured here. Especially the latter is a well-working choice.

One of the new models were the “suit carrier” that came both in canvas and distressed leather. This is something Mismo has been lacking. In addition to suits and shirts the side pocket gives room for a laptop or a pair of shoes for example.

The new classic - M/S Adventurer.

A bit modified tote-bag in rustic cotton-wool canvas and leather details.

Classic briefcase and tote models - still the core and foundation of the collection.

The “star-monogram” featured for the second time in a row. For spring only with a light grey background instead of the blue used in the upcoming F/W ´14 collection.

Distressed leather that was introduced in the F/W ´14 collection has now been used for some smaller items as well in addition to bags and backpacks.

Mismo is also running sale at their own web store and there are still some pretty nice deals available. Worth to visit.
