Belvest f/w ´13 @ Pitti Uomo 83.

The f/w ´13 collection by Italian Belvest includes a great amount of high quality knitwear (i.e some roll necks that were beyond perfection), a lot of earthy and neutral tones spiced with stronger colors such as burgundy and orange, lightweight jackets in checked fabrics and finally a lot of unlined outerwear in double-sided fabrics.  The blue double-breasted overcoat seen in the pictures below was one of the individual favorites of mine of all pieces I saw during the week. A Gift from Herrainpukimo - striped light blue oxford shirt

I wrote about Herrainpukimo first time a bit over a year ago when they opened their store in Turku (see the post here). A while ago I got a pleasant message from them if I was interested to give their made-to-measure shirt a try and review it. Love for elegance and passion for the individual Fedeli - a company founded in Monza 1934, being one of the oldest knitwear companies in Italy - is nowadays known as one the “big names” in the league of cashmere, gold of textiles as said by the head of the company Luigi (Gigi) Fedeli. The company’s F/W collection pays exclusive attention to details and proposes an overall line that covers not just clothing but also shoes and accessories in different types leather and lined in cashmere. There were a lot of interesting pieces in the collection such as double-faced fabrics, patterned jersey shirts and awesome hand-knitted 8-ply cashmere cardigans. Inspired by the British history and tradition Boglioli F/W collection this time finds the inspiration from Great-Britain, combining Boglioli’s contemporary look with British elegant and sophisticated heritage. ’ All about materials The thing that draws attention when going through the collection is definitely the innovative use of materials, fabrics and different treatments.
