Couple of weeks ago I headed to Turku to see the guys @Herrainpukimo, have a little chat with them and most of all to check out their new made-to-measure suiting programme. The guys have been offering mtm-shirts for a couple of years now (read more about the shirts here) and this summer they moved forward to offer suits, sport coats and other tailored mtm-clothing as well. More detailed post regarding the steps of the process and final results coming up later but first some pictures as a heads up and sneak peek. I wrote about Herrainpukimo first time a bit over a year ago when they opened their store in Turku (see the post here). A while ago I got a pleasant message from them if I was interested to give their made-to-measure shirt a try and review it. The shirt arrived about a month ago, here’s some thoughts of the process. Suomalainen tarjonta klassisen miesten vaatetuksen saralla sai perjantaina uuden toimijan, kun Turussa ovensa avasi otsikon mukaisesti Ab Suomen Herrainpukimo Oy. Osoitteessa Aurakatu 14 sijaitseva pukimon tarkoituksena ja periaatteena on tarjota asiakkailleen ajattomia, kestäviä ja klassisia tuotteita. Pääpaino yrityksen tarjonnassa on mittatilauspaidoilla, joiden hinnat lähtevät normaalisti 69 eurosta. Avajaistarjouksena ensimmäisen paidan tilaus 49 euroa. Valmisvalikoimassaan Herrainpukimo tarjoaa mm. Kent Wangin taskuliinoja, Sandersin kenkiä sekä seetripuisia lepolestejä. Erityishuomiona valikoimaan on tulevaisuudessa liittymässä Ranskalaisen Saphirin kenkienhoitotuotteita, joita aiemmin ei Suomesta ole ollut saatavilla. Tämän lisäksi liike tarjoaa erinäisen valikoiman hyväkuntoisia vintage / second hand irtotakkeja, kalvosinnappeja, solmioita, päällystakkeja sekä tulevaisuudessa mahdollisesti myös kenkiä. Lisäksi erityismaininnan arvoista on, että liikkeen perustajat Tuukka ja Tuomas pyrkivät mahdollisuuksien mukaan kuuntelemaan asiakkaiden toiveita, eli mikäli jokin hankinta...
