Scandinavian simplicity combined with Italian Craftsmanship.

Eleventy F/W ´13 @ Pitti Uomo 83

Eleventy was one of the brands I absolutely wanted to see during my visit at Pitti as I had never before seen the products in person even thought I of course had been going through their past collections and lookbooks online.

The first word or definition I’d use to describe the collection (as well as Eleventy in general) is “versatile” or “diverse” and the second one would be “simple”.

In case we forget the most formal occasions and business dressing, Eleventy provides a great foundation to build up your wardrobe as the collections are restrained and understated but still “elegant” and sharp.

The main colors and tones (much of grey, brown, blue and green) used are solid and easy to combine, details are well considered and all the pieces are finished with care. The collection underlies in many ways the advice that always works: “keep it simple”.

The fact that Eleventy products are very reasonably priced makes the brand even more interesting. In case you’re living in Finland the nearest place at the moment to see and try these pieces on is Gothenburg but good news is that in the future (hopefully this spring) Eleventy will be available in Stockholm as well.

Finally I wanna give credit to Marco and Paolo who both work as maybe the best possible “models” for the collection and for the style Eleventy represents. Great guys as well!
