In January, before traveling to Pitti Uomo I got an invite from Luca to come and visit his showroom while staying in Florence. Even though the days there are pretty busy and mostly dedicated to going around the fair I was more than happy to take the chance and opportunity and pay Giusto Bespoke a visit.
The company run by Luca (who can be said has learned from the best as he worked years for Liverano before starting a business) has been going now for a bit more than three years. It is mainly concentrated on ties and shirts (both handmade) but offers as well an exclusive bespoke tailoring services for private clients.
Most of the ties are seven-folds but they also make basic three folds, six folds and during my visit I saw this special made 12-fold grey flannel tie which got to be said, was amazing. Even though it was a bit heavy and chunky I would have bought it instantly in case it would have been for sale.
When asked about style Luca doesn’t wanna give any specific advice but says that “elegance is just a theory and life will teach you otherwise. Every person is different and you can’t really apply the same rules to everyone.”
Finally I wanna say that during the last couple of years I’ve met a lot of new people working in this industry and all of them Luca is maybe the most kind and friendly guy I’ve got an honor to get know to. Thanks Luca, hope to see you again in June.
In case you travel to Florence, don’t miss this!
