Got a pleasure to be featured at la couleur blanche’s “meet the blogger”-serie. Find my thoughts and answers from here.
Be sure to follow the blog and also check out this tumblr-site. Menco who works as a creative director for New Tailor in Amsterdam is definitely one of the most inspiring guys in the industry.

I wrote about Herrainpukimo first time a bit over a year ago when they opened their store in Turku (see the post here). A while ago I got a pleasant message from them if I was interested to give their made-to-measure shirt a try and review it. The shirt arrived about a month ago, here’s some thoughts of the process. Taking measurements and choosing details As said, Herrainpukimo has their shop in Turku which I don’t visit that often but maybe once a year. However they do make visits to Helsinki every once in a while so we agreed to have my measurements taken here. The first difference between Herrainpukimo and other (not-online) mtm-shirt makers (Schoffa and Isaia) I’ve tried so far was...
Love for elegance and passion for the individual Fedeli - a company founded in Monza 1934, being one of the oldest knitwear companies in Italy - is nowadays known as one the “big names” in the league of cashmere, gold of textiles as said by the head of the company Luigi (Gigi) Fedeli. The company’s F/W collection pays exclusive attention to details and proposes an overall line that covers not just clothing but also shoes and accessories in different types leather and lined in cashmere. Japanese Perfetto (that according to some people working in the industry is among the best shoemakers in the world) is one of the more distinctive manufacturers presented at Pitti Uomo.
Their secret and strength is especially the range of classic models (such as balmoral or button boots) executed with pretty unexpected mixtures of leathers, fabrics and patterns.
At the moment Perfetto shoes are not easy to find from Europe (according to my knowledge they have one retailer in Paris, France) but if you happen to bump into these, this is definitely a brand not to miss.
You’ll find the post showing Kanpekina collection at Pitti Uomo 82 from here.
