Briefcase for business

A man who wears a suit for work or who needs to carry a laptop and a bunch of papers from one meeting to another simply needs a bag. But what kind of a bag? Some may value a back bag or some kind of a tote for example but for most of men the choice is a briefcase of some kind. And what kind of briefcase for business should you choose? "25-hour Palissy briefcase" by Oppermann London is a great option for short business trips but it might be a bit too big to serve as a daily work-briefcase. Sum up - 5x briefcase for business There are multiple good options for those looking for that perfect briefcase. In the end...

Mismo fall and winter 2015 - Pitti Uomo 87

Form and function influenced by appreciation for timeless design, durable natural materials and performance - that’s what Danish Mismo is about. They are about to making products where designs embrace the synergy between aesthetics and purpose. The bags merge robust fabrics made exclusively for the company, lush premium leathers with high endurance zips, brass hardware and often graphic textures. Each piece includes only what is needed to fit the purpose, nothing more, nothing less. Mismo fall and winter 2015As usual - in terms of the collection that was seen at Pitti Uomo - Mismo made no shortcomings and it seems that there is a really nice and versatile selection coming to stores next fall. The collection is strongly based on classic and known Mismo-designs spiced...

Oppermann London - New Surfaces

Oppermann London just recently launched a new line called “surfaces” which as the name implicates is centered around a duality of surfaces. Bags of the line features tumbled leather from Tärnsjö Garveri in Sweden and a smooth trim leather from Italy combined together resulting as sharp and understated look.  With a softer leather, the bags are designed to show a more relaxed silhoutte and aesthics than the classics line of the company, but still to keep an elegant and business-oriented appearance. At the moment the Surfaces collection includes a briefcase and a compact weekend bag both in black color. All the products of the line are made in Italy. As one who has been looking for a new weekender / duffle...

Mismo @ Pitti Uomo 84

S/S ´14 As usual, Mismo came up tough and inspirational. The collection presents some new materials and mixtures such as the linen, linen/cotton, new colored canvas plus also some techinal fabrics that seemed to be perfect for more casual attendance. For S/S 2014 Mismo has also decided to step into the “camouflage game” as the print is strongly presented in many pieces of the collection. But unlikely to what we’ve used to see in the spring and summer collections of Mismo there’s really no splashes or flashy choices in terms of the color scheme this time. Instead there’s a lot shades of blue, brown, sand and green with some little additions of restrained tones of orange. Read the full post @Editors’...

Oppermann London - Goswell briefcase

Earlier this year I got a message from Mattis Oppermann, the co-founder of Oppermann London. Oppermann is a Swedish-German brand based in London. The company was founded by Mattis and his brother Niklas in 2011 and the first collection was introduced in November 2012. Recently they presented their second, now extended collection of leather bags, portfolios and accessories. After a little Mattis asked me if I was interested to give a try to their products. As I was more than pleased to take the chance, the decision to choose was left for me. Finall I ended up to pick their "Goswell Briefcase" portfolio in navy blue. Oppermann London - Goswell briefcase The Goswell briefcase is made of full grain vegetable tanned leather and...
