Get Gold

Besides menswear and clothing sports has always played a big role in my life. During my life I’ve played ice-hockey, soccer, floorball and many other sports. Almost as much as playing myself, I also like watching following different games such as the Olympics going on at the moment. In 2008 I was lucky to get a chance to be in Beijing watching games and still remember pretty well sitting in the stand and watching Usain Bolt breaking the world record (also remember the women’s beach volley matches pretty good).  Today is 13. day of the London Olympics and at the moment it seems that Finnish athletes   are not going to make it to the podium even once and at...

LUBIAM S/S ´13 @ Pitti Uomo

Founded in 1911 by Luigi Bianchi, Lubiam (that actually stands for LUigi BIAnchi Mantova) is one one of the oldest clothing companies in Italy. The company that manufactured clothing for both men and women until the 1920s (when it decided to drop the women line) is still controlled and run by the fourth generation of the Bianchi family. As expected the Lubiam stand at this summer Pitti Uomo was absolutely one of my favorites. It was the last day we went to see it (quiet, not that much people around, so we got all the time we wanted to see through the collection) and I have to admit that I really enjoyed just to walk around the stand looking at the set...

Tombolini S/S '13 @ Pitti Uomo 82

Besides the short previews and sneak peak photos from Pitti last week I decided to share a bit more photos and details from some of the brands. First of them is going to be Tombolini. “Future has ancient roots” - Classic cutting interpreted with a contemporary taste, valuable materials and perfect finish The company founded in 1964 by Eugenio Tombolini and today run by his daughter Fiorella Tombolini wants by their own words to represent the taste and passion for what can be described beautiful. The thing that really pleased myself and caught my eye was that Tombolini got the whole package from the classic business clothing to more relaxed and casual wear perfectly covered. The most notable point of...

Liike on panostanut...
