On the last Saturday of May we had the pleasure to host our first ever #tyylit-kevätpäivä event. I'm happy that around 60 guys interested of men's style visited the venue and we had the pleasure to host Saman Amel and Italigente, two great Swedish #menswear and footwear-brands for the first time in Helsinki.
Big thanks for everyone who joined us, it was a great pleasure to see some many familiar faces but also to meet new people and gain new friends with the same passion and interest. Stay tuned as there will be new events coming up later this year.
Shots from the event are now up and live. Check the full range of pictures can be found @tyylit.fi.
Today's collage is made to remind you of our #tyylit-event taking place on Saturday @ Torikorttelit, in Helsinki. For more information - check out the post here.
The outfit is build on two items that are ideal for warm and sunny, casual summer weekend. The cotton pop-over shirt is combined with lightweight espadrillas. Both of these are actually pieces that are not that easy to find. Especially if you are a looking a proper option that can be combined in multiple ways.
Blazer: Lardini Pop-over shirt: Saman Amel Trousers: Incotex Espadrilles: Italigente Tote bag: Frank Clegg
Next Saturday Helsinki - Torikorttelit in the city center to be exact - is the place to be. That day we will have our #tyylit-kevätpäivä featuring a trunk show visit by Swedish "tailoring house" Saman Amel and shoe brand Italigente. As you know we have now been working with #tyylit for a bit over a year. We have tried to extend our range in terms of subjects we cover, we have started our seasonal look books (of which the spring and summer piece is on its way) and now we are happy to organize our first tyylit-event - featuring these two Swedish guests mentioned above. More info about the schedule and program in general can be found @tyylit as well...
I’ve said this before but one thing I personally value a lot is seeing people going after their dreams and making them come true. Last June in Pitti Uomo I once again had the pleasure to meet a lot of new people and make new friends. One of the guys I met was a young Swede, Saman Amel - one of the two guys behind the young brand Saman Amel, based in Stockholm and specialized in ties and other accessories. Made in Sweden One of things the guys behind Saman Amel are rightly proud is the fact that all products are not just designed but as well produced personally by their own team in Stockholm, Sweden. The main focus is on...
