First day of Pitti done. As a little sneak peek a few shots of what I wore for the first day and what we have seen. For the first day I chose to wear a chalk striped suit by Tagliatore and striped shirt from Mastai Ferretti - combined with very simple dark blue cashmere tie, orange silk pocket square and black calf leather double monks. And well, then there is that white casentino wool overcoat by Lardini. Subtle chalk striped suit combined with blue cashmere tie. White casentino by Lardini. It's again that time of the year. Time to pack the bags and head to Florence for Pitti Uomo. This time the week will be a bit different than earlier. This year we will take DLA one step further. Many times people keep asking me what is Pitti Uomo? To put it shortly Pitti Uomo is the world's most important single event for anyone interested of men's clothing and accessories. It gathers together thousands and thousands of people working in the industry one way or another. For many it is full work and for many it's more fun and vacation. After a couple of months break it is again time for a short instagram-review. Starting new year with a collage from December. Knitted cashmere tie with a cashmere scarf, denim shirt and patterned sport coat by G.Abo Napoli. As most of you know winter season here in Finland is cold and dark. It also affects to my personal posting frequency on instagram as well as on the blog. Year 2015 is almost over. It's been a good year. A lot of good things have happened. I've met a lot of interesting people, learned a lot about clothing and learned a lot about my own style as well. On the other hand especially the latter half of the year was pretty busy for me at work. Therefore I haven't had that much time to post as I would have hoped for. One thing I am especially happy about though is that the blog got a new platform and layout. Year 2016 will be big.
