Buttero - Pitti Uomo 87

Outside the scope of tailored #menswear, Italian Buttero - a company with over 40 years of experience of making high quality boots and shoes - is on of the stands I regularly make a visit during Pitti Uomo. This time they came up with a collection consisted of darker tones and options covering full range of casual footwear from their classic sneakers to runners and new innovated chelsea boots.

Buttero FW2015 - not only sneakers

As mentioned above, in terms of colors and overall aesthetics the collection for next fall and winter is in fact pretty dark consisting of light brown, black, grey and burgundy - all matched and combined coherently. And not only the colors are mixed - the same has been done with materials as the iconic lo- and hi-top sneakers come in many forms mixing together suede and calf leather. Especially the hi- and lo-tops with light brown uppers and dark (almost black) colored soles and laces I can easily imagine being a favorite for many. Pair them with some light colored or dark denim and some a bit more robust knitwear and you have a top-notch fall outfit ready.

For me (and for many others as well I believe) “the thing” when it comes to Buttero is the sneakers, but the company is not just that. For the upcoming season there are multiple boot-models ranging from suede and calf-leather Chelsea boots to hikers and and 8-eyelet derby models. In addition there are some classic derby blutchers and even oxford shoes with some new rubber coated and patent leather finishing together with also new innovated sole-options.
