Christmas inspiration - Christian Kimber "The Passport"-lookbook

Yesterday was the darkest day of the year. Therefore it is good time to find inspiration from down under. Today taking a look at beaches of Australia where there is much more light and sun at the moment. This time the inspiration comes in a form of a look book by my dear friend, talented Christian Kimber. A few weeks ago Christian launched the look book showcasing his new Passport-collection. The photos of the look book were taken by Sebastian Petrovski, a Melbourne photographer at Jan Juc Surf Beach in Melbourne. The shots are modelled by Melbourne based artist Tre Samuels. Passport collection - inspired by beaches of Australia I have shortly wrote about the Passport collection earlier. The collection includes 4 different sneaker models...

Buttero - spring and summer 2015 @ Pitti Uomo 86

There’s only a week before heading again to Florence for Pitti Uomo 87. So next week will be about those few collections for the upcoming season as well as getting ready to travel. Starting with Buttero - Italian shoe maker that nowadays is best know for their high-quality sneakers. Even though the brand may not be that well-known outside the #menswear and sneaker-aficianados, Buttero already celebrated it’s 40th anniversary with the collection that was seen at Pitti last summer. Spring and summer 2015 - “Dirty white” The “theme”...

Opumo x Footwear

Opumo just recently took a huge leap as they expanded their collection from various accessories to cover casual footwear as well. And not only did they bring one or two models available but multiple choices from 6 different brands (Sanders, Grenson, Mark Mcnairy, Buttero, Sperry Top-Sider and YMC) Decided to pick few of my favorites from the launched selection. Buttero blue suede low sneakers Exclusive to Opumo for spring-summer ´14 this pair features Italian suede uppers, leather laces, metal eyelets and off-white rubber soles. Suitable with light colored denim or white cotton slacks for example, my absolute favorite from the collection. Buttero - premium sneakers made in Italy

Earlier this year I wrote shortly about Italian shoe manufacturer Buttero and their presentation at Pitti Uomo. At Pitti I also had the pleasure to meet the great people behind the brand.
