25/2015 - Smart & Casual weekend wear

The last days of April here in Helsinki are always a little bit ambivalent. On one hand you can already start wearing loafers but on the other hand the weather is still favorable for those who want to keep wearing their winter jackets and roll neck sweaters. As I personally favor both (loafers without socks and roll necks), on Saturday I decided to combine them into one outfit. Always there is no need for puffy or striking pocket square. Actually with this outfit one could have left the square totally out, even though white tv-fold is always a safe bet.

#tyylit-inspiration - inspired by The GIGI

On Saturday I wrote shortly about the spring and summer collection by The GIGI. Inspired by that came up with a collage featuring an outfit that would be ideal for a warm, casual summer weekend. The blue Art suit features a little diamond pattern, giving the shirt a nice texture and the Gigir shirt is picked in classic color but with the mao collar it also keeps the outfit fully casual. Slip-on sneakers are a good alternative to bring a little freshness and blue tote bag by Filson keeps the color scheme monochromatic and restrained. I recently got myself a new sport coat by Italian G.Abo. Today I take a bit closer look of the brand and the new jacket I got. G.Abo is a Italian small family company.
