Sartoria Rossi is an Italian manufacturer with a - one could claim - different philosophy in terms of classic menswear than many others. Rossi is a company that combines well made and quality clothing - pieces normally more suitable for business and other formal occasions - with bold prints such as stripes and windowpanes and bright colors. Sartoria Rossi is still a relatively unknown company that started its business and tradition as tailors in the 1970s. Family business was established in Val di Chiana, between Arezzo and Siena in the heart of Tuscany, same place where head production of the garments is still located. The look book of company’s fall and winter collection shows a lot of bright and bold...
It’s again that time of a year when it’s dark when you leave for work and it’s dark again when you get back home. This unfortunately makes taking any outfit pictures even harder as there is no sufficient light (or decent weather) to shoot outside office hours. However here are some details of starting the week. I don't really feel a need for example to wear a suit or a tie on my "free-time" and if possible I usually opt for light colored denim, simple button-ups & sweaters (nowadays crew necks) or roll necks, sometimes maybe a "lightweight", unstructured sport coat. Just as here,...
I have said it earlier but one of the best things in #menswear is when you get to know new brands, new garments and people behind them. In the summer a friend of my Corey, who also is the founding editor of A&H Magazine introduced me a brand I had no earlier experience or knowledge about, though I had seen some pics on web and on instagram which had attracted my interest. The brand was and is called Francesco Serraiocco. An example of wearing the tie in "smart casual" set-up. For more details and pics check the post here.
