Some shots via Instagram from the last few weeks as a lazy Sunday-post. Casual walk around part I - Barbour liddesdale jacket, Uniqlo lambswool sweater, Sauma private label chino trousers and Bexley Enfield boots. Weekly lunch burgers… I’ve been looking for a basic blue sport coat for a long time but haven’t really found the one or there has always come some purchases that have been “more important”. In real there’s is nothing more important than a good navy blazer. Found this one made by Mabro from Sauma couple of weeks ago. More details coming up soon. Never say no to a glass (or few) of Champagne. Got a chance to wear my black velvet three-piece suit (made in Finland...
The history of Italian Gran Sasso goes back to year 1952 when four small-town brothers; Nello, Eraldo, Alceo, and Francesco Di Stefano decided to merge their skills to build something with an aim to become one of Italy's most eminent knitwear companies. Gran Sasso is specialized in knitwear and following the laid-back motto "Quality is always fashionable" company’s garments are made from finest materials to combine tradition with innovation and ancient craftsmanship with modern production processes. If you go and look, there’s not much information available regarding Gran Sasso online. But what’s sure, is that this company makes one of the finest knitwear on the market. All products are naturally - made exclusively in Italy. Finally a quick look of the company’s F/W ´13...
As I’ve mentioned earlier, I don’t really know much about watches. Basically what I know about them is how do they look and what they cost. Recently I’ve been giving more and more thoughts to the idea of upgrading my “watch-game” and thought to share with you the “wish-list” of mine at the moment. Unfortunately it seems that realistically speaking all but the first one on the list are at the moment out of my catch. Maybe I need to start “savings account” as one my friends did recently for the purpose. Seiko SKX007 is considered to be on of the most popular watches of the seiko brand, and the fact that Seiko is one of the most popular watch...
I recently got this question: Hey! You know that winter in Finland, especially in Helsinki could be sometimes very cold. I want to have jacket that is same time warm and stylish. I don't like those chesterfield wool coats and other long coats. I'm finding some mid-length jacket that goes with also jeans with brogues and chinos with trainers and so on. You know, "semi-formal". Do you think it could have hood with fur? CG is bit too "outdoor" than "city". What would you suggest? :) And yes, I definitely know that it can get pretty cold (and windy) every now and then in Helsinki. The first that comes to my mind could be a basic pea coat, which can...
“Hi! I wanted to ask a simple, yet open question: what are your favorite layering pieces and brands for winter? I haven’t had luck finding good cardigans (I’ve never had a good one), and I need help finding sweaters, coats, and a good pair of winter pants. I live in the US, so any online recommendation would be great!” This is a pretty wide question but I try to come up with some points. Simple way of layering - lightweight v-neck sweater underneath a sport coat to keep away the cold. I personally like wearing roll necks and cardigans as “layering pieces” while “dressing up” and roll neck sweaters in more casual combinations. In additions to that I use pretty...
