The summer season is already almost coming to an end and shops here and there have been starting their summer sales. One of DLA supporters, Norwegian Berg&Berg also started their sales today so in case you are looking for some new ties, pocket squares, scarves or leather goods (and even if you really weren’t), take a look at their selection. This week got a great start as I on Monday received a package from Australia including a pair of suede loafers and a new pocket square I ordered earlier. Both by my friend and highly talented Mr. Christian Kimber, one of the “new hopes” of #menswear. Keep an eye on this guy.

Berg&Berg just started their annual online outlet with great savings on previous collections and samples. Until the 8th of June the store will be filled with ties, knitted ties, bow ties, scarves, pocket squares, knitwear, leather goods, belts and socks from previous summer and winter collections, offering 50-70% savings on a wide range of items. Couple of months Norwegian Berg&Berg launched the first pieces of their S/S ´14 collection. I mentioned it here and outlined few of my personal favorites. One interesting point regarding Berg&Berg is that they don’t release the whole collection at once but add new items to the store every now and then. Some pieces of the collection has already been sold out but just this week some nice grenadine ties were added to the selection. Last week Berg&Berg launched the first releases of their new spring and summer collection. Once again there’s bunch of interesting stuff that really draws attention and are definitely worth checking out. In the new tie collection classic grenadines are complimented with self striped silk ties that are crafted from" fil a fil silk (a jacquard fabri woven with two double twisted silk threads), multiple linen ties and finally a bit more special, untipped cotton seersucker versions. In terms of pocket squares the absolute ace for the season are the fresh and summery cotton squares featuring floral prints, nice option to wear with your unstructured cotton and linen jackets.
