Christmas inspiration - Christian Kimber "The Passport"-lookbook

Yesterday was the darkest day of the year. Therefore it is good time to find inspiration from down under. Today taking a look at beaches of Australia where there is much more light and sun at the moment. This time the inspiration comes in a form of a look book by my dear friend, talented Christian Kimber. A few weeks ago Christian launched the look book showcasing his new Passport-collection. The photos of the look book were taken by Sebastian Petrovski, a Melbourne photographer at Jan Juc Surf Beach in Melbourne. The shots are modelled by Melbourne based artist Tre Samuels. Passport collection - inspired by beaches of Australia I have shortly wrote about the Passport collection earlier. The collection includes 4 different sneaker models...

How to wear monochrome colors

Can men wear outfits featuring monochrome colors? Usually when talking about "how to combine colors" or "how to wear different colors together", one of the first rules is to ensure that you have enough contrast between different pieces of your outfit. In general there are at least two points that should always be kept in mind. On the other hand with a sport coat featuring slight windowpane or prince of wales-check one can easily and imperceptibly "dress up"otherwise casual ensembles such as cotton slacks and button-up shirt or a roll neck sweater. Also, an unstructured jacket with...

Christian Kimber - The Passport Collection

This week's dose of inspiration comes from down under. A long wait has come to an end as my dear friend and one of the most best-dressed gents there is - Christian Kimber - launched his new collection of footwear (and accessories) called The Passport collection yesterday. Christian Kimber - Premium sneakers and quality footwear The vision behind the newly launched collection - that includes 4 different sneaker models and 4 different models of other footwear - according to Christian is that each handcrafted pair of shoes can translate seamlessly into any environment. The idea of the collection is to create a versatile selection that would work no matter what you wear. A sneak peek of what was coming was...

Day 2 @ Lake Como

The second day of our vacation we spent touring around the town of Bellagio.  For the day I wore my new cotton/linen slacks from Finealta, Isaia chambray-shirt and suede loafers by Christian Kimber. "Casual and relaxed yet chic" but most of all light enough to stay cool at the sun strolling around up and down the little streets. For dinner put on the Tombolini striped blazer and brown silk knitted tie by Sauma. Pink camouflage pocket square from P.Johnson Tailors.
