In the morning it was time to head back to office after three weeks of vacation. Ended up making it easy and playing safe by going with my favorite suit from Caruso together with some subtle shades of blue for shirt and tie. It was nice to be on vacation but it’s also good to be back at work.

For the spring and summer ´15 by Eton has gone far, some might say pretty unlikely sources to find inspiration. In terms of prints there are influences taken for example from the TWA Terminal at JFK Airport designed by the Finnish architect Eero Saarinen resulting as a unique airplane print seen on shirts, scarves and pocket squares and inspiration from Hawaii displayed as a distinctive sunset palm prints for the casual shirts. For a more traditional business look with “a modern twist”, the collection features shirts with small prints and micro-patterns such as small paisley print and a sophisticated floral shaped dots. This week got a great start as I on Monday received a package from Australia including a pair of suede loafers and a new pocket square I ordered earlier. Both by my friend and highly talented Mr. Christian Kimber, one of the “new hopes” of #menswear. Keep an eye on this guy.
The suit is wool / silk / mohair mixture by SuitSupply in a bit more bright blue, espeacially suitable for summer (and actually acquired to be worn at couple of upcoming summer weddings), white x light blue striped lightweight cotton twill shirt by Eton and brown linen tie by Berg&Berg to balance the ensemble.
