Today's inspiration underlines versatility and the right use of patterns and color.  In terms of outerwear, a single-breasted navy blue overcoat is a safe choice that is suitable to be worn over a suit for the office as well as it is with some denim and knitwear for those casual weekend getaways. A lightweight and unstructured wool-suit featuring a subtle overcheck pattern can easily be combined as separates and there really is no choice that would be more versatile than a light blue button-up shirt. Brown in town - office inspiration

Fully back in the office after Christmas holidays and traveling in Italy and the weather looks like there is still time for some decent outerwear as well as heavier fabrics such as wools and flannels.This weeks inspiration arises from classic colors - brown and blue - and pieces such as grey flannel trousers and double monk shoes that are combined with upper parts from the Eton x Eidos-collection presented last fall. Boglioli fall and winter 2015

Starting the week by taking a look of the fall and winter 2015 collection by Italian Boglioli that was not shown at Pitti Uomo but presented the collection in Milan just recently. For the recent fall and winter Boglioli had studied and been inspired by the elegance of Milanese men of the 1960's - and it seems that the same theme has served as a platform of inspiration for this collection as well.
