Mismo S/S ´15 @ Pitti Uomo 86

Danish Mismo has established a solid supporter base. And it has happened for a reason. For myself visiting the stand for not just see the collection but also to have a chat with Adam (the co-founder and owner of Mismo) is one of the routines during Pitti week. The visit and collection for upcoming spring and summer did not disappoint, once again Mismo came up with an inspiring range featuring their popular basic pieces together with some seasonal and new innovations. Full post and more pictures now @tyylit.fi For more posts regarding Mismo - check here.  For the next season there were basically two new colors featured on the canvas bags - very strong & bright blue and the “rustic...

Bastong @ Pitti Uomo 86

Bastong that I in the first place got familar at Pitti Uomo in January is a South Korean company, dedicated to making classic but casual daily outerwear with a philosophy that "Regardless of genre, 'anything that's well made does work". The design of Bastong focuses on creating a clean look combined with high quality materials and construction. As they say by themselves - a good product with good care will last forever. Collection for spring and summer ´15 is named and inspired by "Sahara desert", including two different color schemes - a sand picturing the...

The GIGI S/S ´15 @ Pitti Uomo 86

One of the most expected collections to see at Pitti Uomo this time was definitely The GIGI, a company founded by brothers Mario and Pierluigi Boglioli. After seeing their first collection (f/w ´14) presented in January the hopes of seeing something new, interesting and inspiring were high. And  together with Eidos Napoli the collection of The GIGI was definitely one the highlights of the fair. Fashion resides within bodies and architecture dresses places The theme and inspiration for the S/S ´15 collection by GIGi is the intersection of fashion and architecture. As said by themselves, for both it’s a question of volumes and for both it’s challenging to pursue and anticipate changing times. The collection itself (as the first one seen...
