Bexley - affordable shoes with decent quality

Today I take a look at Bexley. A firm that makes decent quality footwear with very reasonable price tags. In my opinion Bexley is one the best companies for anyone looking for decent quality shoes with reasonable price tag. Name Bexley might sound a bit unfamiliar for many. Bexley is a French footwear company, born in 1985 in Lyon. The company is specialized in selling fine and affordable shoes for men. Their main objective is to offer classical and fashionable products at a reasonable price. Most interesting thing about Bexley is definitely the pricing. All dress shoes are priced as 139 euros for the first pair and 89 euros for the second pair. For more casual shoes such as driving shoes, moccasins and...

Combining casual footwear - driving mocs

It's already mid-september but let's not let the summer go just yet as it still seems to be almost 20°C outside. And as I guess the summer will come again eventually - it's just a right time to take one more look at some summer gear before paying all the attention to fall and winter. And starting with a few couple of questions I’ve got just recently. Q: “I love the shine on your shoes! What method do you use to take care of / shine them?” A: First of all, thanks for this! Although I need to admit that for a while now I haven’t been really active in terms of polishing my shoes. For some reason I’ve...

Meermin snuff suede PTB - mto

I just recently got a question how our Meermin MTO PTBs turned out and I need to say it turned out really great. The specs we ordered it were following: Plain toe derby - 5 eyelets Rui-last Double rubber (dainite) sole Snuff rapello suede Sky welt The order took a bit over 3 months to be delivered and the schedule held pretty well if I remember correct. Have no complaints, the finishing is on a good level, all the specs were as they were suppose to be and the quality of the suede is commendable in my book. Will probably go for another mto-order soon. And I will also come up with a more detailed review regarding the mto-loafers I got...

Behind Carmina there is the Albaladejo family that has been making shoes on the island of Majorca for almost 150 years. The company itself, Carmina Shoemaker was found in 1997 by José Albaladejo, even though it was just to continue a long tradition together with his family. Visiting at their booth is always a pleasure and this time in Florence was no exception. Carmina shoes are made using best possible leathers (including Horween shell cordovan of which special treatments the company is renowed and more exotic leather choices such as alligator, crocodile and lizard), all shoes are goodyear-stitched and made with the same techniques, consistency and perfection as their English counterparts. Read about the eleven steps of making Carmina shoes from here.  Regarding the presentation...
