Drake's London S/S ´14 @ Pitti Uomo 84

It’s already been 4 months since going back and forth the passages of Fortezza de Basso at Pitti Uomo 84 and actually not even three months before it’s time to go again for the 85th fair in Florence. However there’s still one more review I want to share with you, my overall favorite brand in terms accessories - Drake’s London, which in fact nowadays is about much more than just accessories. S/S ´14 Even though Drake’s has been expanding their range, ties can still be described to be the soul of company’s business. And in terms of ties (all made €‹€‹in England), for every new season Drake’s comes up with a collection that includes about 100 woven patterns and 100...

Lubiam S/S ´14 @ Pitti Uomo 84

For some reason I’ve left Lubiam to be one the last brands to show, maybe because I think the photos I took don’t make justice to the collection which I actually liked maybe even more than the two previous ones I’ve seen from them. Unlike most of the exhibitors Lubiam had for this season changed the layout of the stand a bit (and maybe this made it too difficult for me to shoot) which also gave a nice refreshment. Also this time they had present a lot of pieces from maybe their most unknown label “Brando”, in the same space with the other collections.  The collection for next spring and summer overall comes with lots and lots of bold patterns...

Eton S/S ´14 @ Pitti Uomo 84.

The S/S ´14 collection of Eton Shirts gives credit for hope, dignity, elegance and strength, elements they see as key ingredients for a man who wants to be well-dressed and elegant. It’s a collection for the men who does not necessarily need to wear a suit and shirt but still enjoy being able to do that. One feature worth mention regarding the collection is that it will be launched step by step so that there will be new designs and fabrics coming up various times during the season and each month has its own individual color themes and expressive patterns.  In terms of fit, Eton will also present a new “super slim” fit for the Red Ribbon collection; Shirt that features a slimmer fit...

BASTONG @ Pitti Uomo 84

Few collection from Florence still left to share. As said earlier one of the best things and feelings going around the fair is seeing new collections and especially the opportunity to find new brands you haven’t covered before. This time maybe my favorite find took until the last day of the week as I was going through the “Touch” section and more casual types of brands & clothing and bumped into South Korean label Bastong. Long lasting outerwear Bastong, as mentioned is a South Korean company,  dedicated to making the perfect outerwear with a philosophy that “Regardless of genre, €˜anything that's well made does work”. The selection of the brand is still very small (including basically 5 different jackets to be...

Tombolini S/S ´14 @ Pitti Uomo 84

Being my personal favorite for the last two Pitti Uomo fairs, I was definitely looking forward to see Tombolini and their collection this time as well.  In general it should be said that for every season (this one not being an exception) Tombolini comes up with one of the most comprehensive collections covering not only business, formal, casual or some “trendy” parts of their line-up at the booth but the whole selection in a very compatible way. Even though it means that the overall look stays pretty much the same from one season to another there’s also some new bites keeping the presentation fresh and crispy every single time. Business & Zero Gravity One of the key pieces in the collection and worth to...
