Eidos Napoli spring and summer 2015

A few weeks ago - during New York Fashion Week - Eidos Napoli launched their collection for upcoming fall and winter '15. However as we are not there yet - it's a good time to pay attention again to this spring and summer as Eidos yesterday released the look book featuring the collection for the season. Il Cuore di Pescatore Earlier collections and look books “This is Rome” (SS14) and “Faces of Firenze” (FW14) are now followed by a line that could be called as “The Soul of a Fisherman” - inspired by the little and beautiful island of Ischia, located a bit outside of Naples in Italy, that also has been called as the land of farmers and fishermen....

A month ago in Florence many guys were disappointed as they heard the fact that Eidos Napoli -the so-called little brother of famous ISAIA - would not be present at Pitti Uomo.Instead Eidos decided to launch their collection for upcoming fall and winter season in NewYork during the fashion week. Eidos fall and winter ´15 - CorrespondentThe collection is called “The Correspondent”. Brown in town - office inspiration

Fully back in the office after Christmas holidays and traveling in Italy and the weather looks like there is still time for some decent outerwear as well as heavier fabrics such as wools and flannels.This weeks inspiration arises from classic colors - brown and blue - and pieces such as grey flannel trousers and double monk shoes that are combined with upper parts from the Eton x Eidos-collection presented last fall. Since presenting their first collection at Pitti Uomo 84 in January 2013 Eidos Napoli has firmly been on the radar of every menswear enthusiastic. Eidos Napoli F/W ´14 @ Pitti Uomo 85

At Pitti Uomo 85 Eidos Napoli made its second appearance and after a debut that was slightly describing nothing less than total success the expectations were high for sure. Whereas the "theme and concept" for the Eidos S/S ´14 “This is Rome”-collection was young man's first summer in the eternal city of Rome, this time inspiration comes from Florence, showing the “Faces of Firenze”. The line itself is again full of sportswear side garments mixed with fine tailoring and divided into “two different” sides - of which the first one brings out “Italian workwear” and other one is concentrated more tailored “business man” appearance.
