Q: Hi I’m contemplating whether to purchase a pair of Adelaide and I’m toying with either C&J westbourne or AS Moore.. As I know you have both, which one would you choose first and why? A: Well, what you have there is probably the two best alternatives for an adelaide oxford in terms of price range going from 350-500 euros. As you mentioned, I've had both but unfortunately that westbourne pair was too small for me so I had to sell it forward. Those Sargents I've had maybe about three years now and they are to be honest one of my favorite pairs. On the other hand I have a pair of Adelaide oxfords made by Crockett&Jones (for Paul Smith)...

Starting the week with an outfit from past weekend. A casual combination featuring a cotton jersey blazer and runner sneakers - two things all people don't see appropriate to wear together. How to make it work with sneakers and a blazer? Casual weekend wear Sport coat and sneakers, especially runner-kind-of-sneakers are a combination that many object to. Some for aesthetic reasons, some just because there are "rules" that say one can not do so. The first for me is acceptable, not every one can like and be friends of everything. However I personally think it's just all about context, environment and right balance to make this combination work as any other ensemble. How to combine sport coat and sneakers When wearing...
Going through blogs, forums and web shops is a good way to brighten up a rainy weekend like this one. Today taking a quick look of Pauw Mannen - Dutch based luxury retailer that just this week opened their new web store. The first Pauw Mannen store was opened already in 1980s at the Van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam - so we are not talking about any new born player, although that time the focus was predominantly in women's fashion. Later Pauw has widened their range to cover some of the most prestigious brands from the world of menswear and if you ever happen to visit in Amsterdam, I highly recommend you pay a visit at some of their stores there....
A few weeks ago - during New York Fashion Week - Eidos Napoli launched their collection for upcoming fall and winter '15. However as we are not there yet - it's a good time to pay attention again to this spring and summer as Eidos yesterday released the look book featuring the collection for the season. Il Cuore di Pescatore Earlier collections and look books “This is Rome” (SS14) and “Faces of Firenze” (FW14) are now followed by a line that could be called as “The Soul of a Fisherman” - inspired by the little and beautiful island of Ischia, located a bit outside of Naples in Italy, that also has been called as the land of farmers and fishermen....
