It feels like days passes by really quickly. It's already been almost two weeks since we came home from our vacation. Today taking a quick look of the combination I wore while coming back home from Italy. Casual wear for traveling As mentioned earlier, nowadays - when it's not for work - I try to travel as casual and comfy as possible. While we traveling in Italy - for most of transitions from one place to another I chose to wear my shorts and jacket by The GIGI (read more here) but as the weather forecast seemed that it would be rather cold in Finland I decided to go for jeans instead of shorts. In terms of shoes - most...
We celebrated the first of May yesterday quite casually by having brunch with a few friends of ours. I did not feel like wearing a suit as mentioned in the inspiration post here but as the weather was still quite chilly and windy I opted for a roll neck sweater, jersey blazer and a field jacket as top layer combined with denim and just washed Superga sneakers.
Field jacket: Beams Plus Blazer: Rose&Born Rollneck: Berg&Berg
Denim: Weekday Sneakers: Superga PS: Monsieur Fox Bag: Mismo
One of the best features of double-breasted blazer is the versatility. I have a couple of blue double-breasted blazers in my rotation and I use them a lot. First of all they can be combined with dressed-up cotton slacks and a tie for more formal occasions. But they are also appropriate to wear even with just a roll neck sweater and sneakers. Last week I wrote about 5 white sneakers to check out for this spring and summer. On Sunday I decided to pick up my old white Superga sneakers and take them out. And I combined them with some denim and blue double-breasted cotton sport coat. Double-breasted blazer - combined casually I bought the pictured double-breasted blazer - made by Suitsupply -...
Starting the week with a few shots from yesterday. Though the sun came out every now and then as we were walking around the city, the weather was extremely windy and in the end not really warm enough to go out with just a quilted Barbour jacket and a sweater. Casual and simple for Sunday This is pretty much what I like to wear for those casual days when there is no need to dress up in any way. Light colored denim with knitwear in colors of blue, brown or grey - this time the choice was grey lambswool by Uniqlo. These sweaters are actually a great deal considering the fact that they cost around 25 euros a piece. Sneakers...
For some little Sunday inspiration a few detail shots from yesterday. Pictured also the Gran Sasso sweater I bought as a Christmas gift for myself on Friday. As you can see, the weekend was fully casual.
