In addition to ties, pocket squares and bracelets the selection is now widened to comprise umbrellas, braces and different kind of horn accessories. These items are not just seasonal but meant to stay in the collection “for good”.   From the new collection - meticulously handcrafted umbrellas made in Naples by Mario Talarico. Also new - handmade horn accessories and braces from United Kingdom. 5x Spring essentials

It’s once again that time of the year when everyone are thinking their spring (and maybe already summer) essential-pieces. So did we as well at tyylit.fi and here’s what I personally came up with. This is one my all-time favorite photos (from Pitti Uomo, by The Sartorialist). Capturing most of my own essentials for this spring. Blue blazer Well, it doesn’t really matter what season are we talking about - this one belongs to every list. It’s only a matter of construction and materials. Lardini F/W ´14 @ Pitti Uomo 85

Time for next in line in terms of reviews from Pitti Uomo 85. For the second time in a row,  Lardini was the brand that came up with the most inspiring collection in my book. Lardini, created and still run by the siblings Andrea, Luigi and Lorena Lardini is known for the development, innovation and experimentation it invests in to create products - with versatility of different fabrics, patterns and special treatments - that combine the art of hand tailoring and cutting-edge machinery. All of the products are manufactured entirely in Filottrano, Italy  Restyling the suit - make it reversible One of the most coolest and inspiring things seen at the fair for me this time was definitely the business-line by Lardini, where the...

Meermin snuff suede PTB - #tyylit.fi mto

I just recently got a question how our Meermin MTO PTBs turned out and I need to say it turned out really great. The specs we ordered it were following: Plain toe derby - 5 eyelets Rui-last Double rubber (dainite) sole Snuff rapello suede Sky welt The order took a bit over 3 months to be delivered and the schedule held pretty well if I remember correct. Have no complaints, the finishing is on a good level, all the specs were as they were suppose to be and the quality of the suede is commendable in my book. Will probably go for another mto-order soon. And I will also come up with a more detailed review regarding the mto-loafers I got...
