5x white linen shirt

Sun starts to shine, one might get rid of socks while wearing sneakers or loafers and winter jackets are put on hold. As the spring and summer keeps coming it means people are starting to think lighter. Materials such as heavy flannels and tweeds start to feel a bit too muggy and everyone are looking something more lightweight and something more airy. Something like linen.Linen shirts - underused optionWhen it comes to summer and lighter fabric options linen is the choice that most of times is highlighted. Tagliatore spring and summer 2015

This weeks dose of spring inspiration comes from Italian Tagliatore. Those who are familiar with the name know that in addition to fabric treatments and high quality production processes the strength of the company lies especially on the innovative and distinctive designs by the head designer Pino Lerario.Tagliatore SS ´15 - bold pieces combined with restrainedWhen it comes to sport coats and jackets Tagliatore is known for their bold checks, windowpanes and relatively wide and impressive lapels. In terms of pocket squares I personally usually go for either plain white, white with contrasting borders or then for squares that have a kind of personal print or illustration on them. These are squares that on their best are much more than just pocket squares - best of them could be described as work of art. Unfortunately they can rarely be seen as a whole as only a little part of the square can be seen when put in the pocket. I recently got two amazing pieces made by The Monsieur Fox. The squares are made  of a cloth featuring...

Saturday shop tip - Pauw Mannen

Going through blogs, forums and web shops is a good way to brighten up a rainy weekend like this one. Today taking a quick look of Pauw Mannen - Dutch based luxury retailer that just this week opened their new web store. The first Pauw Mannen store was opened already in 1980s at the Van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam - so we are not talking about any new born player, although that time the focus was predominantly in women's fashion. Later Pauw has widened their range to cover some of the most prestigious brands from the world of menswear and if you ever happen to visit in Amsterdam, I highly recommend you pay a visit at some of their stores there....
