Spring is here - that means listings of "season essentials" are also popping up every here and there. I might be boring but I've noticed that the listings I use to make in my head seem to include almost always the same items. No matter the season. For example - a blue blazer is an essential despite the time of year we are talking about. Classics as essentials for men - Spring 2015 So again this time my listing became to feature in general five - I dare to say - classic #menswear pieces. Although a couple of these could be categorized also as trends that have recently been grown in popularity. The listing has also been made by keeping in mind...
I was recently asked (by Mika, the writer of a blog Ohituskaistalla) about job interviews, what to wear for one, to be exact. So for today's inspiration a collage featuring simple and plain outfit that I personally would see suitable to wear for a job interview. And of course this has been done bearing in mind the field - legal services - I work in. But it could also be suitable for consulting, finance or whatever where there is a need to dress up and wear a suit for work. A blue suit, white shirt, black shoes and navy (dotted) tie is a classic combination that I would dare to say fulfill (almost) any dress code there is in terms...
Starting the week with a few shots from yesterday. Though the sun came out every now and then as we were walking around the city, the weather was extremely windy and in the end not really warm enough to go out with just a quilted Barbour jacket and a sweater. Casual and simple for Sunday This is pretty much what I like to wear for those casual days when there is no need to dress up in any way. Light colored denim with knitwear in colors of blue, brown or grey - this time the choice was grey lambswool by Uniqlo. These sweaters are actually a great deal considering the fact that they cost around 25 euros a piece. Sneakers...
Form and function influenced by appreciation for timeless design, durable natural materials and performance - that’s what Danish Mismo is about. They are about to making products where designs embrace the synergy between aesthetics and purpose. The bags merge robust fabrics made exclusively for the company, lush premium leathers with high endurance zips, brass hardware and often graphic textures. Each piece includes only what is needed to fit the purpose, nothing more, nothing less. Mismo fall and winter 2015As usual - in terms of the collection that was seen at Pitti Uomo - Mismo made no shortcomings and it seems that there is a really nice and versatile selection coming to stores next fall. The collection is strongly based on classic and known Mismo-designs spiced...
Starting the week again with an outfit from the weekend, this time something a bit more casual - Field jacket together with a chunky roll neck and cotton slacks. Beams Plus garment dyed M-65 jacket The field jacket worn is an impulse purchase I copped from Florence during the last Pitti Uomo. A little bit funny is that the jacket (made by Japanese Beams+) is sized as “large”, though it fits me (as seen) perfectly on the shoulders and by no means is not too large at any point. At first I was thinking about taking it in a bit but as the straps on the waist and on the hem can be tightened there’s no need for that at this...
