As Friday was kind of casual for me (no meetings) decided to go with some dark colored denim slacks from Finealta and pair them with the db-blazer from Lardini and white light weight merino wool roll neck from Sand. Most of times I’ve been wearing the blazer with lighter colored trousers but this time wanted a bit darker to bring some contrast to the light colored upper half. Brown double monks by Carmina (via Vaatturiliike Sauma).
So here’s Friday’s fit in details.
It seems that fall is now really coming as this morning temperature was around 2°C and yesterday it was windy and drizzling for the whole day. So it’s time to get flannel suits, darker colored sport coats and overcoats out of the closet. And here are some recent instagram-shots featuring a few looks from days it was still a bit warmer and from this week… For more wiwt- and other pics - check and follow @dresslikea Massimo Dutti / Uniqlo / Weekday / Bexley ...

One weekend again behind and new week ahead. Started the flannel season on Friday (as can be seen here) and continuing it today by wearing my favorite Mabro blazer (made of Vitale Barberis flannel) for the first time this fall.
Otherwise going with pretty toned down shades - light denim shirt together with burgundy grenadine tie from Viola Milano and darker grey flannel trousers to keep the balance on the bottom half.
The adelaide oxfords by Alfred Sargent are also one of my favorite pairs for business use - beginning to get some nice patina already.
