I was recently asked (by Mika, the writer of a blog Ohituskaistalla) about job interviews, what to wear for one, to be exact. So for today's inspiration a collage featuring simple and plain outfit that I personally would see suitable to wear for a job interview. And of course this has been done bearing in mind the field - legal services - I work in. But it could also be suitable for consulting, finance or whatever where there is a need to dress up and wear a suit for work. A blue suit, white shirt, black shoes and navy (dotted) tie is a classic combination that I would dare to say fulfill (almost) any dress code there is in terms...
How to wear a suit featuring check-pattern? Here I try to give you a simple example of how to pull off a checked suit. This is a basic example of what I tend to wear for work. It is an appropriate choice for days when I need to be dressed up a bit but not in the most formal way however. Checked suit - made-to-measure by Vaatturiliike Sauma The suit pictured is a made-to-measure piece by Sauma. When I ordered it I wanted something a bit different from my usual range of suits. So I chose lightweight wool fabric by Fratelli Tallia di Delfino in "greyish blue" with subtle brown / light blue over check. In terms of construction the jacket...
Starting the week with a few shots from yesterday. Though the sun came out every now and then as we were walking around the city, the weather was extremely windy and in the end not really warm enough to go out with just a quilted Barbour jacket and a sweater. Casual and simple for Sunday This is pretty much what I like to wear for those casual days when there is no need to dress up in any way. Light colored denim with knitwear in colors of blue, brown or grey - this time the choice was grey lambswool by Uniqlo. These sweaters are actually a great deal considering the fact that they cost around 25 euros a piece. Sneakers...

There are some really nice pieces available in the collection - for today a combination that would be perfectly suitable for a Saturday night dinner - as soon as the weather gets a bit warmer.

Swedish shirt maker Eton is not just one the multiple different shirt makers any more. Last year they launched the most interesting collaboration - when it comes to #menswear - with Eidos Napoli and season after season they seem to step up their game not just in terms of shirts but with the range of accessories and overall look and feeling of the brand as well. But well, when a brand has a guy like Sebastian Dollinger as their head of design - what else can one expect. For the upcoming fall and winter season Eton has searched inspiration from nature; The impact of landscape and wild habitants by the Swedish archipelago is shown in the Autumn/Winter 2015 Collection through...
