Starting the - dark and cold - week with a glimpse to the new Resort collection that Dutch SuitSupply introduced just a while ago. The collection - featuring a couple of suits, range of sport coats, trousers, knitwear, shorts together with some accessories in lightweight fabrics & vivid and a bit faded colors - is according to SuitSupply made for those who prefer to trade the snow & cold for some sand & sun and opt for a proper getaway. It seems that the collection is (at least at the moment) available only in the US-online store. In case you...

As an inspiration boost for the weekend a quick look into the fall and winter collection for this season by Italian Tagliatore. The garments designed by Tagliatore - its head designer Pino Lerario to be exact - get their inspiration from the Italian and Neapolitan classic tailoring but are enriched with special and personal accessories. In terms of patterns and looks the inspiration is shown through bold checks featured in overcoats, jackets and suits through the collection...
Fully back in the office after Christmas holidays and traveling in Italy and the weather looks like there is still time for some decent outerwear as well as heavier fabrics such as wools and flannels. This weeks inspiration arises from classic colors - brown and blue - and pieces such as grey flannel trousers and double monk shoes that are combined with upper parts from the Eton x Eidos-collection presented last fall.
Suitable for office - and by dropping the tie and square totally appropriate for casual wear as well.
