It's been a busy week - so on Friday we decided to head over to the countryside for some relaxation. And as I know the posting frequency has been rather low during the summer - due some work and other projects - I want to give you a little heads up as there are some big and good things coming up with DLA.
What's coming up is stuff that I am personally quite excited about, stuff that will take this game into a whole new level. So stay tuned.
But before that a few shots from yesterday - including casual weekend gear, homemade burgers, champagne and views from the sea coast...
And that little fellow - on his own seat...
A man who wears a suit for work or who needs to carry a laptop and a bunch of papers from one meeting to another simply needs a bag. But what kind of a bag? Some may value a back bag or some kind of a tote for example but for most of men the choice is a briefcase of some kind. And what kind of briefcase for business should you choose? "25-hour Palissy briefcase" by Oppermann London is a great option for short business trips but it might be a bit too big to serve as a daily work-briefcase. Season after season I find myself waiting for the launch of collections and look books by Italian Loro Piana. This fall makes no exception. For this fall and winter 2015 the company has again come up with a collection and seasonal look book that in terms of inspiration and aesthetics maintains those high-quality standards they have set for themselves. Every man needs a navy blue blazer but after that I would say it is totally appropriate and even advisable to invest in quality sport coats with some classic but still vibrant patterns in seasonal fabrics and textures. To keep an eye on the forthcoming fall and winter season a few words about how to play with patterned sport coats. Brown wool sport coat with a navy...
Whereas I like to keep my suits quite simple and plain, in terms of sport coats I rather go for plaids, checks or some other lively patterns. For today a few detail shots from last week. Featured in the pics is a checked cotton sport coat by Pal Zileri that I don't actually wear that often nowadays but that is a great piece for relaxed casual office days. Checks and details I bought the jacket in pictures a couple of years go from Milan. As mentioned, it hasn't got as much wear as many of my other jackets which might partly be because of the shoulder structure which is a bit more padded that most of my other jackets. Another...
